Poor attitude by the sales associates. Came in today to return a gift order that was delivered to me. I wasn’t sure if it was an in store or online order since it was a gift. I had the packing slip. Instead of taking the next step to look up the order to confirm, they said they can’t take the return. The reason they can’t is because I started the return online. I said, I can cancel the return myself since I’m already in-store to return. They said, “no, since the shipping label was created, you have to print out the label, put in a box and return it to UPS”. In the end, I went to Pottery Barn kids nearby where they were able to look up my order and cancel the return in store. It was resolved in less than 5 minutes. There were no other customers present in the teens store, so it wasn’t like they had others to help. Not sure why it was so complicated. Please retrain staff. I noticed another similar negative experience pertaining to returns in earlier reviews.

Absolutely horrific experience getting a bed/desk combo from some cheap delivery company Potterybarn uses. No one can help us when we call Potterybarn Teen as they say they don’t have access to this company’s delivery schedule and the delivery company no showed us one day and 4 days later they showed up (late) with 3 of the 5 pieces. Potterybarn Teen has done nothing to help us get our product and just keeps giving us the company’s phone number. Outrageous and unacceptable after paying a ridiculous amount of money for furniture and delivery fee..

I ordered a quilt, when it arrived it smelled like burned and it had physical marks of being burned. I asked to return it and they made me pay for the packaging (the one that they provided initially was not enough to be sent back) and return label.

RE: Terrible Experience with Pottery Barn Teen I have had no previous trouble over the years with any of the Williams-Sonoma, Inc businesses, and in fact purchase and use quite a few products from West Elm and Pottery Barn. However, I've had an awful time with this one Pottery Barn Teen order, and I think it’s worth your organization looking into where mistakes may have occurred. In January I ordered the Bailey Daybed and Trundle, Twin, Eco Performance Textured Weave Oat, Seadrift from Pottery Barn Teen. That order was scheduled to deliver on 3/2/24, but the only half of the bed was on the truck (two boxes, clearly missing a third). I had to refuse delivery, and they issued a replacement order. That second order was scheduled to deliver on 3/26/24, but the same thing occurred- only part of the bed was there. We did a lot of troubleshooting with customer service after that, and over many phone calls I was assured that all the parts would be held, that the hub would personally make sure the parts were on the truck, and that the bed would get delivered. I called 24 hours ahead of time to confirm this, and was told all the parts were present. However, this third order, scheduled April 16th, was also only part of the bed. Now I am done with this. I spoke to customer service requested the whole order be canceled and to have the cost refunded. It's wholly disappointing. Everyone I deal with in customer service and on the delivery teams have been lovely, respectful, apologetic and truly want to help. It is not about them. This leaves me to believe there is something off in the chain of communication in the system, and I wouldn't recommend anyone buy furniture from you again until there is some better transparency and execution.

I don’t have a problem with there products. Their customer service is horrible. I ordered a sheet and quilt set. The sheets came within a timely manner. But the quilt was over a month delayed, I contacted them to see how much longer considering I paid over 30 dollars in shipping. Can’t get a straight answer and when I asked to get my shipping cost back was told absolutely not.
